I bought my property as an investment from City & County so it made sense to use their Lettings Service, and I’m glad I did. In addition to the usual completion and exchange delays, numerous unexpected challenges arose as we got the property ready for the tenant. Despite these challenges, the City & County team pulled out every stop to make things run as smoothly as possible, in some cases going way beyond the call of duty to keep things on track.
This kind of service is rare these days – particularly the regular phone calls to keep me updated on things. I hired Tepilo to sell my property, why not they’re cheap, right? I got 4 initial viewings, no feedback or anything, when they left that was it. I had to write my listing myself, very eBay like! 6 weeks gone, Tepilo only made contact to obtain my credit card details or to resolve my complaint of their useless service. They have no incentive to sell, they get the cash either sold or not.
I heard City and County were good from a neighbour. This is how that went, they offered me a good deal. A chap called Mike came to take photos and value on the Thursday, my details went live on the Saturday. Monday I had 3 calls for viewings, one viewer couldn’t make it on the days off I had, so only had two viewings in the end. Friday both viewers were shown round by a City and County representative, result……. Two offers, Saturday the house is sold. Not bad in a ten day period.
City and County have a sign in their window saying they need properties to sell, yes I believe they do if they get through them that quick.

My husband and I were going through a difficult break up, we chose City and County as we knew they had been around for a long time and had heard positive feedback about them.
